Conscious B&B commits to water saving on water stressed island Gotland
On the beautiful Swedish island of Gotland, where summer residence and visitors goes for relaxation and sun, Gothem B&B has adopted to the new harsh realities of a very dry limestone island. The B&B is hosted in limestone house dating from the middle of the 1800s. In the manor-like surroundings conditions are created for recreation and rest.
Water scarcity has long been a big issue and a lot of measurements has been taken to adapt. But when visitors and summer guest tenfold the population on the island from 60.000 to 600.000 the situation gets even tougher. All water resources get maxed out. That's why it’s so great to see the conscious statements and action Gothem Logi takes (in contrast to a lot of the greenwashing that exist) to reduce the consumption in their 13 rooms with Altereds Dome® technology. The B&B also host the great pizza place Vedung.
