Extreme water saving at Coffee Bay, South Africa

Two thirds of South African school children today have no opportunity to wash their hands at school.
– We tested washing our hands for 30 seconds with the time delay mixer and Altered: Nozzle and flushed the toilet once. Then we used less than 300 milliliters of water. Compare that to a standard toilet that uses nine liters of drinking water,  says Birger Lundgren founder of Scandinavian Water & Sanitation Project and adds:
– Nine liters of drinking water to flush - what's an insane waste! 19th century technology cannot solve the problems of the 21st century.
