FOUNDERS

Professor Kaj Mickos
Kaj Mickos is a professor emeritus in innovation technique. Prof. Mickos also has a background in behavioral sciences and as a professional innovator. He has 30 granted patents and is the founder and co-founder of 15 companies. Prof. Mickos research is focused on finding faster, more accurate, efficient and cost-efficient ways to continuously produce innovations. As a result he has developed a model that describes how to build a production system for innovation.

Johan Nihlén, CEO 
Johan Nihlén is the CEO of Altered and started his career at digital agencies within creative networks Ogilvy and DBB. After his M.Sc. at Stockholm University Mr. Nihlén founded ad-agency Fabric, working as brand strategist and developed models for building brands and communication concepts. Before founding Altered he worked as Marketing Manager at Swedish online bank Avanza.

Mikael Abbhagen 
Mikael Abbhagen is the Head of Design and has a Bachelors degree in Design from Beckmans School of Design. Mr. Abbhagen has a wide experience from Brand, Product and Interior Design within his own company SA&DD and has worked with clients such as H&M, Heineken, Budweiser, Swedish Army, Björn Borg and others.

Niklas Hofverberg (Chairman)

Niklas is founder and Partner of the Private Equity firm Pivot. Pivot acquires and develops small cap company’s by implementing an innovation agenda to the businesses and through that drive growth. Niklas has previous experience from cross border M&A advisory, where he has been advising entrepreneurs and private equity firms on divestments and acquisitions.

Frank Artschwager
Founder private investment firm Jellyfish. Experience from international hardware and software companies.

Boris Gyllham 
Investment Manger at Almi Invest Greentech. Boris holds an MSc in industrial engineering and an MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
